Meet Logan Manshack

Logan discusses how he will work hard to keep Okfuskee County safe, by making public safety his number one priority to earn your trust and confidence.  Logan explains how he will work with other local, state and federal entities to lead the Okfuskee County Sheriff’s Office. As a result, we will meet the county’s needs and reach our goal of exemplary law enforcement and correctional services for Okfuskee County.

As most of you know, I am running for Sheriff of Okfuskee County and I humbly request your support. Allow me to share with you why I am seeking your support.

Over the past decade, my counterparts and I have faced and addressed a wide range of challenges. Through this experience, we have gained valuable knowledge about what works and what doesn’t. We have learned and know our limitations as law enforcement officers and how to navigate situations that fall inside our jurisdiction. Our approach has always been to provide top notch protection, assistance and support, even when faced with difficult circumstances. We understand the importance of being firm yet reasonable, and we recognize that the citizens of Okfuskee County deserve to be able to rely on our services.

Together, we have formed trust, cooperation, and accountability within our office. Each member of our team understands what the rules are and what is expected of them, and we hold ourselves to a higher standard. They know that I am a team player who will work in the trenches with them, providing the training and tools they need to do their job. I am proud to say that all of our officers and staff focus solely on performing their duties with the highest of integrity and honesty, ensuring that they give their very best every day.

Under my proven leadership we have established strong partnerships with various local authorities. By working collaboratively, we strive for the greater good of our community. Additionally, we have strengthened our ties with state, tribal, and federal law enforcement agencies now more than ever before leading to increased cooperation across the board. The type of partnership I speak of is built from mutual trust over many years of experience.

I have lived in Okfuskee County all my adult life, it is my home, it is my family’s home so I will protect it at all costs, not only for our sake but for the sake of you and your families as well. We cannot turn a blind eye to crime and I’m not so naive as to believe that there are 4 corners of this County like others do and that I alone can eradicate crime from within our confines. What I can and will do is promise you that I will continue to work day and night just like I have for the last 10 plus years to combat crime in this County.

I have worked under Sheriffs Jim Rasmussen and R.L. Wilbourn and have learned an invaluable amount of knowledge from these great men. I plan to utilize this knowledge to make Okfuskee County a better place.

As many of you know I’m younger than most candidates that run for Sheriff, but I have the experience and knowledge to know to surround myself with people that will mentor and guide me through this. After all this is a team effort. With that being said, It is my honor to say R.L. Wilbourn has agreed to be my Undersheriff and to keep the Sheriff’s Office on track to improve for the betterment of Okfuskee County’s citizens.

Why am I running for Sheriff? It can be summed up in one simple statement:

I love Okfuskee County and the people in it!I do not trust or believe that anyone else possesses the same drive, dedication and heart to fulfill my duties as your Sheriff. We have worked hard to build a Sheriff’s Office Okfuskee County can be proud of and I’m proud of the men and women that serve alongside me. I can assure you that as long as you vote for me, things will be done right. My unwavering commitment to our community’s safety and well-being drives me to seek your support.

I am incredibly grateful for the trust and confidence you have placed in me throughout my time as Chief Deputy and Investigator. I kindly ask for your continued support and the opportunity to serve you as Sheriff. Together, we can ensure that Okfuskee County remains a safe and thriving community for all our families.
