Southlake Church of Christ exists to glorify God and transform lives through His divine wisdom and unchanging love. From the beginning of time, humanity has faced calamities, tragedies, and uncertainties. Yet, Ecclesiastes 1:9 reminds us, “Nothing under the sun is new.” Even during Jesus’ ministry, disasters and diseases caused fear and suffering. However, there was no ailment He could not heal. Today, as we navigate life’s challenges, we are called to trust in God’s guidance, remain bold and courageous, and live the abundant life He promises in John 10:10.

In uncertain times, Southlake encourages three key principles: First, don’t panic—remember, God is in control. The Bible reassures us repeatedly, “Do not fear.” Second, be wise—take steps to protect your family and live responsibly. Third, look for ministry opportunities, especially by serving our neighbors. The gospel transforms every aspect of life. It is not only the door to salvation but the pathway to personal, community, and societal renewal (Gal. 3:1-3; Col. 1:6).

At Southlake, we are grounded in the biblical purpose of the church: to worship God (Luke 4:8), study His Word (2 Tim. 2:15), pray (Acts 2:42), love one another (John 13:35), and equip believers to share the gospel (Matt. 28:18-20). The church provides a place for fellowship, where Christians encourage, honor, and support one another (Romans 12:10, 1 Thess. 5:11).

Through faithful worship, teaching, and outreach, Southlake Church of Christ seeks to joyfully glorify God by transforming lives and fulfilling His plan to save mankind. Together, we strive to serve as agents of His love, drawing people to Christ so they may glorify and enjoy Him forever.
