Mark your calendars for one of Okemah’s most anticipated annual celebrations! Okemah Pioneer Days returns April 22nd through April 25th, 2026, bringing four exciting days of family-friendly fun to downtown Okemah.

This cherished community tradition celebrates the rich history, culture, and hometown spirit that make Okemah such a special place to live and visit.

From the moment the festivities begin, downtown will be filled with energy, music, and smiling faces. One of the highlights of the week is the Pioneer Days Parade, where local businesses, schools, organizations, and community leaders line the streets with colorful floats and spirited displays. It’s a great opportunity to gather with friends and neighbors and celebrate together.
