Jenks City Update: The City Council unanimously approved an economic development agreement for a project at 106th & Elm—the $200M+ project is bringing new condos, retail, sports facilities, and ballfields.
As part of the agreement, $55M was approved as a maximum TIF reimbursement to the developer, which funds future public infrastructure like stormwater and streets without additional costs to taxpayers. These infrastructure improvements are vital to any future development in the River District.
Jenks Public Schools will receive 25% of revenue (approximately $13 million in funding).
The City of Jenks is committed to responsible government and investing in our future through innovative, fiscally sound practices.

Thats all good and everything I guess But we dont even have sidewalks in my housing addition Melodie Lane and we pay high taxes to live here over 20 plus years
That is absolutely ridiculous jenks does not have the infrastructure to handle the traffic this will produce You are destroying our city
When will the schools received the funds What has to happen in order for the schools to receive the money
It was mentioned during the city meeting that this development has access and approval to utilize state funds via the land act from other TIF areas that would allow the project costs to exceed 55 million dollars
What about the mobile homes located there
Photos

Maybe we should find a way to widen and connect 111th east of elm to the city of Tulsa roads to help provide more avenues for traffic
