The Okemah High School Alumni Association is excited to announce its participation in the upcoming Okemah Pioneer Days, scheduled for April 23–26, 2025. This annual festival celebrates Okemah’s rich heritage with a variety of family-friendly events, including a rodeo, carnival, parade, live music, and local vendors.

As part of the festivities, the Alumni Association will host a hospitality suite at the Okemah Historical Building on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26. This suite will serve as a welcoming space for alumni to reconnect, reminisce, and learn about ongoing initiatives.

Okemah High School, established in 1912, has a storied history of academic and extracurricular excellence. The school’s mascot is the Panther, and its colors are black and old gold. The Alumni Association plays a crucial role in maintaining the school’s legacy by fostering connections among graduates and supporting various school and community projects.​

Pioneer Days is a cherished tradition in Okemah, offering activities for all ages. The festival features street games, a car show, and the Pioneer Day Rodeo, providing entertainment and a chance to celebrate the community’s pioneer spirit. 

Alumni and community members are encouraged to visit the hospitality suite during Pioneer Days to engage with fellow graduates, share memories, and support the ongoing efforts to preserve Okemah’s cultural heritage.
